Cal. 30 WCF. S# 1200890. Bbl. 20". Model 94 lever action carbine mfg. by Winchester in 1940. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Nicely figured single band fastened plain wood forearm and straight grip buttstock. Buttplate is absent. Ramped, dovetailed, and aluminum beaded blade front sight, with empty rear sight dovetail, and receiver mounted Redfield adj. aperture rear sight. Upper receiver tang exhibits an added hole, likely for a previously mounted tang sight attachment. CONDITION: metal components retain fair to good amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear fading to gray patina, with scattered spots and patches of light to mild surface oxidation present overall. Very bright bore, exhibiting some light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. (25-5302/MLW). CURIO. $500-800.
